Job description

UG2 is a national facility services provider with the goal of being recognized as the preeminent provider of comprehensive integrated facility services and solutions. We need to fill a Warehouse Associate/Office Services Coordinator position at a prestigious Bio-Life Science client in Bedford, MA.
This position reports to the Office Services Manager. The Warehouse Associate/Office Services Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to - operation of forklifts and other PIV equipment, handling the flow of inbound and outbound shipments including hazardous material, assisting with maintaining the facilities, maintaining supply room inventory, stocking supply areas, event management and daily coverage of open areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for helping with the daily workflow in Shipping/Receiving and incoming shipment distribution
  • Processing of complex International Priority shipments.
  • Warehouse responsibilities (Forklift experience helpful)
  • Set up of conference rooms for meetings and special events.
  • Maintain and stock supplies in printer areas and meeting rooms with necessary supplies.
  • Help with day-to-day facilities operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all incoming shipments and packages using our internal software system.
  • Prepare outgoing packages being shipped via FedEx and other carriers in accordance with the carrier's shipping guidelines to best insure timely delivery.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Shipping Receiving and Warehouse Experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; Well-developed oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Heavy lifting at or around 50 pounds required.
  • Familiarity with various types of office equipment - A/V, conference, copier, printers.
  • Able to multitask, problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Word and Excel, Oracle, SAP) preferred.

Language and Communication Skills
Speaks, reads and writes English fluently. Ability to analyze, interpret and apply information and procedures. Can effectively present information and respond to questions or communicate with diverse groups.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no moving violations.
  • Forklift Certification (preferred)
  • Hazardous Material in Transportation Certification, US DOT 49CFR and IATA Regulations(preferred)
