Job Title: Marketplace Experience Associate - NYC UGG
Reports to: Manager, Marketplace Experience - NA UGG
Location: NYC (Remote)
The Role
As a Marketplace Experience Associate, you'll ensure UGG is positioned as a best-in-class brand within your city, delivering elevated consumer experiences across all physical brand touchpoints. You'll act as the eyes and ears of the marketplace, gathering key intelligence, driving local engagement, and making sure our retail partners and brand spaces reflect the UGG brand ethos. Your Impact

• Lead field intelligence efforts, gathering and reporting real-time insights on retail performance, consumer engagement, and competitor activity within key stores
• Track emerging trends, best practices, and shifting consumer behaviors in the local market to inform future marketing and retail strategies
• Deliver detailed end-of-project recaps and serve as the bridge between field insights and corporate teams, ensuring learnings inform broader marketing and retail initiatives
• Support execution of localized brand activations, events, and partnerships that deepen UGG's connection to the market
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure on-the-ground execution of brand experiences, from store events to influencer activations
• Identify and build relationships with local tastemakers, cultural influencers, and community leaders to amplify brand presence
• Execute UGG's marketplace experience strategy across wholesale, DTC, and experiential touch points in the market, ensuring consistency and excellence
• Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying UGG's values and ensuring premium consumer experiences across all physical spaces and brand initiatives
• Identify local opportunities to elevate brand presence and provide input on localized marketing activations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ideate, plan, and execute engagement-driving experiences
• Support planning and execution of new store openings, ensuring brand experience standards are met from day one
• Support in-store activations and events, partnering with store teams and events & experience manager to bring brand initiatives to life
• Conduct in-store training for key wholesale partners, immersing sales associates in UGG's brand story, product knowledge, and consumer experience expectations
• Build relationships with wholesale partners to ensure UGG is prioritized in visual presentation, storytelling, and consumer interactions on the sales floor
• Ensure store merchandising, displays, and brand messaging at wholesale accounts align with UGG's premium positioning

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in retail, brand marketing, visual merchandising, experiential marketing, or a related field
• Passion for brand storytelling, retail experiences, and consumer engagement
• Strong knowledge of the local market and consumer behaviors, with an ability to spot cultural trends and insights
• Comfortable engaging with community leaders, local tastemakers, and cultural influencers
• Experience conducting product and brand training with retail and wholesale partners
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to a broader team
• Comfortable traveling within the market to key retail locations and activations
• Champion of measurable wins, ability to effectively socialize across the organization to rally adoption
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrate authenticity, champion diverse and effective teams, drive strategy, cultivate innovation, deliver results, and build connection
