They perform various duties such as monitoring patient health, administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and supporting patient recovery. Associate Nurses play a vital role in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, ensuring patients receive quality care and support throughout their treatment.

What are some common challenges associate nurses face during their transition from student to professional practice?

Associate Nurses often encounter challenges such as managing high patient loads, adapting to shift work, and building confidence in clinical decision-making. Adjusting to the fast-paced environment of healthcare facilities while ensuring patient safety and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams can also be demanding. However, most employers provide structured orientation programs and mentorship opportunities to support new nurses as they develop their skills and adjust to professional responsibilities.
