JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Produce mechanical installation drawings for various equipment and customers.

  • Research / review customer specifications to ensure compliance.

  • Research / review available as-built drawings.

  • Research / review available architectural drawings.

  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive system design.

  • Prepare prints when required.

  • Make drawing corrections / revisions as needed to meet the project requirements.

  • Report drawing status to the Project Engineer as required maintaining the project schedule.
    Prepare drawings for submittal to the customer.

  • Improve professional and technical knowledge by attending training as required by MHS management.

  • Prepare as-built drawing as needed to meet the project requirements.

  • Prepare general arrangement drawing as needed to meet the project requirements.

  • Contribute by accomplishing various miscellaneous tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree or higher in Computer Drafting and Design or similar technical program. Equivalent work experience will also be considered as a substitute for education.

  • Zero to 3 years' experience in mechanical conveyor / installation design.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Reports to work on-time and in compliance with company attendance policy.
