Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Sac City, Iowa.

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Sac City, IA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active Iowa COTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred; candidates meeting minimum experience will be considered.
  • Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL retraining, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations preferred.
  • Ability to follow written care plans, document using electronic health record systems, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
