Job description

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Petersburg, West Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current, active West Virginia PTA license required for the assignment.
  • Experience in home health care required. Must be comfortable providing care in patients' homes and traveling between patient visits.
  • Experience with HCHB documentation preferred.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Minimum education requirement: Associate degree.
  • Preferred attributes: flexibility, strong communication, adaptability, and compassion.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Home Health.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 08:00โ€“16:30 (days).
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Productivity expectations: 25 points.
  • Coverage area: Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton Counties, WV. Travel between patient homes required. Mileage reimbursed between first and last patient visit.
  • On-call/weekend requirement: No routine on-call or weekend requirement.
  • Dress code: royal blue scrubs.
