What You'll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member, you'll play a critical role in delivering the quality that Newk's guests expect every day.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, and other menu items according to Newk's recipes and specifications

Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards

Properly prep ingredients and stock stations for each shift

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for peak business periods

Work with urgency during lunch and dinner rushes

Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, and minimizing food waste

Support other stations whenever needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently
