Lead Engineering and Energy Solutions Operations for a Growing Engineering and Sustainability Solutions Company
Global Facility Solutions (GFS) is seeking a General Manager of Operations to serve as a key operational leader within our organization and act as a strategic partner to the President in managing day-to-day business operations.
This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical/HVAC industry leader who understands engineering teams, building systems, and technical project environments-but who may come from operations, facilities management, project management, or leadership roles within mechanical or engineering-focused organizations.
The General Manager of Engineering will oversee engineering operations, coordinate technical resources, support project execution, and ensure strong collaboration between engineering, field operations, and project management teams.
This position acts as a senior strategic partner to the President and engineering team leaders, providing leadership in operational planning, technical team management, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Team Leadership
  • Provide leadership and direction to the engineering and technical teams
  • Coordinate engineering resources to support project execution and field operations
  • Mentor engineers and technical professionals to ensure strong collaboration and performance
  • Manage engineering workloads, priorities, and staffing needs

Operational Leadership
  • Partner closely with the President and division business leaders to support day-to-day business operations
