Job description

Job Summary

This is a senior-level Network Administrator - Telecom role that is experienced in supporting and designing an advanced Cisco Voice Infrastructure, including VoIP, IP Fax, MDM, Chat, Voicemail and Call Tree functions.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Effectively leads the implementation and support of an advanced Voice Infrastructure that includes Cisco Voice (UC IP phones, Analog devices, video endpoints), Cisco PSTN Voice Gateways, AirWatch MDM (BYOD) and IP Faxing technologies.
  • Develops and actively reviews voice network designs and standards with internal leadership and Technology Vendors. Uses experience, study and best practice to optimize telecommunications function.
  • Engages in security, legal or HR reviews with leadership to provide detailed call and faxing reports as needed.
  • Collaborates with IT system analysts to integrate both clinical and non-clinical communications with Cisco Voice infrastructure and to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise.
  • Leads the implementation and onboarding of additional clinics to the network.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves voice and faxing issues, in addition to proactively monitoring monthly telephony billing reports, system capacity and license usage.
  • Works with Technology Vendors to troubleshoot ongoing telecommunications performance issues and billing disputes.
  • Provides IT and end user training on voice systems where required.
  • Coordinates, plans and performs planned and emergency maintenance of Cisco Voice Infrastructure.
  • Arranges and participates in On Call Rotation 24/7.
  • Mentors Level I and Level II Telecom Administrators, for triaging critical and long-standing telecommunications performance issues and for providing relevant updates to leadership.
  • Proactively seeks out known solutions to issues and reviews methods for optimization through vendor engagement and technical research.
  • Plans and completes core maintenance activities, upgrades and infrastructure growth on advanced Cisco Voice Infrastructure. Ef
  • Leads project research and design, deployment and implementation, and consultative support in a team environment.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Computer Information Systems required upon hire OR
  • Associate's degree or higher in related field required upon hire
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience required
  • No licensure/certification/registration required
