Compensation: $120,000- $150,000 based on experienceย 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Atlanta, GA. This position will work closely with senior attorneys across a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, nonprofit representation, and general counsel services.

The ideal candidate is a strong legal researcher and writer who can manage multiple matters, communicate confidently with clients, and take ownership of assigned cases while delivering thoughtful, high-quality legal representation.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct legal research involving personal injury, commercial litigation, corporate compliance, and Georgia law.
  • Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
  • Manage and support all phases of civil discovery, including document review, productions, exhibits, and deposition preparation.
  • Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings with senior attorneys or independently when appropriate.
  • Review commercial contracts, corporate governance documents, and nonprofit policies.
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Assist with case strategy, litigation preparation, and case file management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to assigned clerical or paralegal support staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records and detailed case notes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience or strong interest in civil litigation, personal injury, business law, or related practice areas.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and commitment to client-centered advocacy.
