Job Summary:
What You'll Do:
The IT Business Analyst will work closely with business and IT leadership to gather requirements, administer core business applications, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. This role is responsible for system configuration, user management, reporting, and process improvements across a variety of platforms including ready mix dispatch system, truck telematics (Samsara, Digital Fleet), quality control applications and CRM/sales systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain core business systems, including user account management, role and permission configurations, workflows, scripts, and customizations.
  • Partner with business leadership to identify areas where new or improved technology solutions can increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to document current workflows and gather detailed requirements for enhancements and new functionality.
  • Develop and present user stories, process documentation, and requirements for review; revise based on feedback to finalize for solution design.
  • Ensure system changes adhere to established architecture principles, including automation, security, data governance, and scalability.
  • Support development and solution delivery teams by clarifying requirements, participating in Sprint planning, and performing quality assurance (QA) on prototypes and releases.
  • Create and maintain training materials; deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to users.
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports, supporting business KPIs, productivity, and profitability analysis.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to vendors or internal IT as needed.
  • Assist in integrations between core systems and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and developers on system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with third-party partners to scope, implement, and support application solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Manage and prioritize helpdesk tickets related to business applications, ensuring timely resolution of user issues, system configurations, and small-scale system improvements.
  • Manage periodic system upgrades, releases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with external vendors on projects, enhancements, and support issues.
  • Maintain proper system documentation, including configuration records, technical notes, and business processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, business systems analysis, or a related IT field.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, preferably Oracle NetSuite, including administration, customization, and user support.
  • Report/Dashboard experience, ideally using PowerBI or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and adaptable to changing requirements.
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts (e.g., APIs, connectors, middleware) a plus.
  • Experience managing SaaS application environments a plus.

Salary: $70,000-$90,000 annually
