Job Title: IT Business Analyst Location: Melbourne, FL

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central liaison among business stakeholders and IT to align business needs with technical capabilities.
  • Utilize analysis techniques such as interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Design and recommend improved business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing test plans and support business application testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into functional and operational system requirements to optimize organizational performance.
  • Participate in Agile project methodologies, documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and effort estimates.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams to explore solutions, track issues, and plan implementation timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with executives, managers, subject matter experts, and end-users, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Identify and assess risks, considering business implications of technology applications.
  • Contribute to the development and maturity of the Business Analysis function within the IT organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within an IT environment.
  • Strong skills in technical, business, and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and team members.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder or client management and evaluating business needs and processes.
  • Knowledge of structured analysis and design methodologies.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
