We are seeking a data-driven IT Business Analyst to serve as the internal functional owner of our enterprise systems. In this permanent role, you will bridge the gap between our manufacturing operations and our technology stack. You will be responsible for maintaining our current ERP environment, ensuring the integrity of legacy data archives, and serving as the primary internal technical resource during future ERP implementations and software evolutions. High proficiency in SQL is required to manage data integrity, reporting, and system troubleshooting.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Data amp; Reporting (SQL focus): Write and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support financial and manufacturing reporting.
  • System Administration: Act as the primary internal administrator for ERP systems, managing user permissions, troubleshooting transaction errors, and ensuring system stability.
  • Implementation amp; Lifecycle Support: Collaborate with external consultants during implementation projects by performing data mapping, validation, and migration from legacy SQL tables.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Evaluate, test, and support the integration of third-party applications (e.g., EDI, WMS, or Payroll) into the core ERP environment.
  • Data Stewardship: Manage and maintain legacy data archives to ensure historical records remain accessible and accurate following system upgrades or migrations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze manufacturing workflows (Inventory, BOMs, Production) to identify inefficiencies and propose system-based solutions.
  • Testing amp; QA: Lead internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system updates, patches, and new module deployments.
  • Training: Develop and maintain technical documentation and "How-To" guides for end-users across the production floor and office.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in an IT Analyst or Systems Analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills are a must (joining tables, writing scripts, and understanding relational database schemas).
  • ERP Exposure: Functional experience with an ERP system (GP, NetSuite, or similar); the ability to understand how data flows from the shop floor to the General Ledger.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and "connect the dots" between business processes and software logic.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
This role operates an industrial machine with an English-only interface. Successful candidates must be able to read and understand machine prompts, safety warnings, SOPs, and error messages in English, and communicate with the team regarding machine status. The English proficiency required is limited to what is necessary to perform these tasks safely and effectively.
