We are looking for a new Inventory Control Associate to add to our Fulfillment team in our Ohio location! The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts to ensure accurate product availability. Job Type:Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location:530,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 6085 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43110

Schedule:Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm EST

Base Salary:$20.00 per hour (paid weekly)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all assigned audits and counts in a timely manner
  • Communicate with the Inventory Control Lead or Manager on any issues with reoccurring cycle counts and bin audits
  • Record all errors according to procedure
  • Update incomplete SKUs as assigned
  • Communicate to the Data team to update UPC's or incorrect dimensions
  • Replace damaged or missing bins as assigned
  • Assist with fulfillment center planning and prime location updating as assigned
  • Add location barcodes for necessary locations
  • Resolve unknown SKUs from amnesty bins as assigned
  • Reprint labels for locations as assigned
  • Perform SKU verification for previously mis-shipped orders
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Associates, Leads, and Managers
  • All other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Lead and/or SupplyHouse.com management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
    • Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day
  • Experience in a fulfillment setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • A demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and have attention to detail
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
  • Learn and use material handling equipment including order pickers at heights up to 37 ft.
