Inventory Buy Signal Analyst (Associate, Experienced, and Subject Matter Expert)

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Inventory Buy Signal Analyst (Associate, Experienced, and/or Subject Matter Expert) to join our team in Hialeah, FL or Chandler, AZ.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Subject Matter Expert Level Inventory Buy Signal Analyst/Asset Manager.

The Inventory Buy Signal Analyst (Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4) reviews buy signals generated by the planning tool and determines whether recommended purchases should proceed or if alternative actions (e.g., stock transfers, part alternate certification review, forecast adjustments) can satisfy demand. This role balances inventory optimization, service levels, cost control, and regulatory/certification requirements. This position requires a high level of personal accountability and responsibility in either Hialeah, FL or Chandler, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate buy signals from the Planning Tool on a daily/weekly cadence.

  • Analyze demand drivers, lead times, current on-hand and on-order inventory to validate buy recommendations.

  • Determine alternatives to purchasing, including: Stock transfers, Reassignment of restricted/blocked inventory, Utilizing alternate sources or substitute parts, Adjusting forecasts or order timing.

  • Review and validate certification/status of existing inventory (shelf-life, lot traceability, quality release) before recommending usage.

  • Initiate and document decisions to accept, modify, defer, or cancel buy signals; escalate when required.

  • Proactively identify recurring causes for buy signals that are not needed (forecast error, safety stock settings, lead time variance) and recommend process or parameter changes.

  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives to reduce unnecessary buys and inventory carrying cost.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ total years of related experience

  • 1+ years of experience with asset management, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation

  • 1+ years of experience with Supply Chain Planning

  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining

  • Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • Great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment

  • Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value

  • Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience
