Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Structural Bridge Modeler to join our Design Engineering Services Digital Delivery team.  The ideal candidate will participate in the growth and development of our BIM department structural modeling team in the infrastructure market sector of Kiewit.  This role offers significant opportunity to be part of cutting-edge Civil Transportation BIM technologies and work on world-class engineering projects in the Highway, Rail, and Transportation industries.  You should be a self-motivated professional with experience in this role and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally.

Responsibilities

Utilize Bentley OpenBridge Modeler software to create bridge models for permanent design infrastructure projects

Create and maintain Bentley iTwin bridge models with associated design data

Maintain bridge models with our proprietary Kiewit model-based data visualization software

Educate leadership, colleagues, and subordinates on industry bridge modeling best practices

Interface with bridge design engineers, construction teams and BIM Managers at various stages of design and construction

Co-develop company and project bridge modeling standards and training documentation

Manage the delivery of bridge models in compliance with client BIM standards on large-scale infrastructure projects

Mentor and develop structural BIM modeling team members

Qualifications

10+ years' experience with bridge design and modeling production

Able to read & comprehend complex bridge construction documents

Experience with the adherence to BIM standards on projects

Experience delivering BIM models in Bentley products. Experience with Autodesk products is a plus.

Experience with the use of ProjectWise as a Common Data Environment. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.

Proficiency with Bentley OpenBridge Modeler, OpenRoads Designer & MicroStation for BIM authoring

Experience with a multi-format CAD production environment and corresponding interoperability challenges

Ability to communicate, train, effect change and implement improvements

Strong teamwork, leadership, and motivational capabilities

Self-motivated and results focused, with the ability to work with minimal supervision

A problem solver, conceptual thinker and able to work with complex systems

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or equivalent structural design related industry experience

Base Compensation: $110,000/yr - $125,000/yr
