  • Loveland, Colorado: The Target Pay Range for this position is $97,000-$121,300 annually.

  • Fountain Valley, California: The Target Pay Range for this position $101,430-$126,845 annually.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on supporting existing cloud environment, cloud migration, automating infrastructure deployments, ensuring system availability, and optimizing cost and performance. This position is critical to enabling the organization's digital transformation and maintaining a reliable, compliant, and modern IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS resources

  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery

  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution.

  • Automate infrastructure deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, PowerShell, or Terraform

  • Deploy and manage Firewall for cloud

  • Configure and maintain Networks in cloud, cloud to cloud, cloud to on-prem

  • Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (AAD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Conditional Access Policies

  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies, performing regular audits and updates to configurations

  • Manage and understand our Palo Alto firewalls.

  • Maintain linux and Windows servers.

  • Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed for critical incidents

  • Stay current with Azure updates, services, and best practices to continuously improve system reliability and performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent certification.

  • Experience: 7 years+ of hands-on experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

  • 2 yrs. Experience with networking and Palo Alto firewalls

  • 5 yrs. Experience with linux systems

  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or on-prem to Azure migrations.

  • Knowledge of cost management and budgeting tools in Azure.

  • Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.

  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus

  • Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities and to meet deadlines

  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates for automating deployments

Physical Demands:

  • Extensive sitting, phone, and computer use

  • Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers

  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch

  • May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 15 lbs.

  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Hearing ability to effectively communicate via the telephone and in person

  • Ability to communicate verbally on the telephone and in person

  • Fluency in the English language

  • Extended hours may be needed

Work Environment:

The employee will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the Internet. The employee is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.
