Job description

Job Summary:
LG Ad Solutions is a global leader in connected TV and cross-screen advertising, dedicated to providing advanced advertising solutions. They are seeking a Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Denver, responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliable operations, and supporting automation and security practices.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with deployment and maintenance of on-premises compute, storage, and networking infrastructure alongside our AWS environment
• Participate in bare metal server provisioning and OS deployment workflows
• Support day-to-day network operations: troubleshoot connectivity issues, help maintain firewall rules, VLANs, and VPN configurations under senior guidance
• Help maintain and document storage systems and cloud connectivity configurations
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for both on-prem and cloud resources
• Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and help onboard teams to existing platform tooling
• Assist with Kubernetes cluster operations — deployments, troubleshooting, resource management — across bare metal and EKS environments
• Contribute automation scripts and tooling improvements in Python or Bash
• Follow established security standards for on-prem and cloud: help maintain RBAC configurations, apply patches, and support access management processes
• Participate in on-call rotation with support from senior engineers; help investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents
• Contribute to monitoring dashboards and alert configuration across hybrid environments
• Work closely with senior engineers and application teams to understand infrastructure needs and translate them into tickets and tasks
• Keep runbooks, wikis, and operational documentation current as you learn systems
• Flag issues, ambiguities, and potential improvements — your observations from ground-level operations matter
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, systems administration, or a related role
• At least one full-time industry role beyond your first job (internships and co-ops count toward the foundation, but we're looking for professional experience in a production environment)
• Comfortable with Linux system administration: file systems, networking, process management, bash scripting
• Hands-on experience with at least one IaC tool — Terraform or Ansible preferred
• Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and basic networking concepts
• Basic networking understanding: IP addressing, DNS, VLANs, firewalls — you don't need to configure BGP from scratch, but you should be able to troubleshoot a connectivity issue
• Experience with or exposure to Kubernetes — doesn't need to be bare metal, but you should understand the basics of pods, deployments, and services
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash for automation tasks
Preferred:
• Any exposure to physical infrastructure: data center work, homelab, or on-prem environments in a professional setting
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, or similar)
• AWS certification (any level) or in-progress certification
• Experience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK
Company:
We’re a leader in helping brands find unduplicated reach across a fragmented TV landscape, and maximize return on ad spend. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in Mountain View, USA, with a team of 201-500 employees. The company is currently Growth Stage.
