We're all lifelong learners here, and we understand the challenge of balancing life and learning. We recognize how intersectionality shapes our students' lives, and we provide community, support, and rigor tailored to each person.

"To teach in a manner that respects and cares for the souls of our students is essential if we are to provide the necessary conditions where learning can most deeply and intimately begin." - bell hooks, Teaching to Transgress

  • Serve on committees
  • Support college needs or course maintenance
  • Collaborate with colleagues on faculty-lead and leadership directed projects

Training & Support

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the discipline being taught or a closely related field required.
  • Three or more years of postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience teaching adult learners, particularly in a community college setting, strongly preferred.
  • Experience teaching in an online or distance-learning environment preferred

Bonus:
