Job Description Eccalon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to provide comprehensive financial analysis and support to The Department of War (DoW). As a contractor, you will work closely with the various DoW agencies to ensure the effective management of financial resources, compliance with regulations, and the achievement of financial objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the defense sector. Responsibilities: • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Directors, Associate Directors, program managers, financial officers, and contracting personnel. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, coordinate efforts, and support decision-making processes.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. Evaluate financial data, trends, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
• Budget Planning and Management: Collaborate with OSBP and DoD agencies to develop, monitor, and manage budgets. Assist in the preparation of budget proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with strategic goals.
