Job description

Lead a team of event program managers responsible for delivering specific event workstreams or regional programs within AWS's event portfolio. This role requires both strategic vision and operational excellence, as you'll manage the successful execution of assigned programs while developing and leading a high-performing team. You will be accountable for program delivery that aligns with global standards while meeting regional or specialized program needs across different event-specific disciplines (content, operations, platform, audience programs).

Own and drive execution of assigned event programs (examples: regional Summits, content workstreams, specialized audience programs)
Lead a team of event program managers and associates across various event disciplines
Develop comprehensive program strategies aligned with business objectives
Create and maintain program roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables
Drive innovation in program execution and delivery methods
Team Leadership & Development
Build and manage high-performing teams across program workstreams
Lead teams during onsite event execution, ensuring excellence across all program elements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience managing complex event programs
- Experience leading teams in high-pressure, live event environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in technology-related sales, marketing or business development
- Experience managing technology industry events (5,000+ attendees)
- Track record of implementing innovative event solutions
- International program management experience
- Experience managing diverse event disciplines (content, operations, platforms)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
