Job description

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking an Area Private Dining Event Manager to join the team!
As the Area Private Dining Event Manager, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences by serving as the liaison between our clients and restaurant operations teams. This position is responsible for coordinating and detailing private dining events from contract turnover through execution, ensuring every event is accurately planned, communicated, and positioned for success.

What you will be doing:
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the event detailing process.
• Coordinate event details, timelines, menus, and special requests.
• Create and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for assigned events.
• Partner with restaurant leadership teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Confirm billing details and maintain accurate event documentation.
• Attend BEO and revenue meetings and assist with reporting as needed.
• Work alongside and partner with our driven and results-focused area sales team.
What do you bring to the role?
• Previous hotel or restaurant experience required.
• Food & beverage experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Salesforce/Delphi experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Estimate: $55,000 to $60,000 per/yr + Bonus Opportunity
