Front Desk Associate
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Front Desk Associate. In this role, you will provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll be one of the first associates to greet our guests and to set the tone for their entire experience.
Pay Rate: $16-$18/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Associates are at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests. Managers and fellow associates.
  • Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the resort.
  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
  • Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer systems, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
What We're Looking For
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. College coursework in a related field and/or experience in a hotel or resort is helpful.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Windows software or have the ability to learn the necessary programs.
  • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Possibly exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
