IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 50 firm

Direct Counsel is seeking an IP Litigation Associate (2โ€“6 years of experience) to join a nationally recognized Intellectual Property Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile patent litigation matters for leading technology companies, semiconductor manufacturers, and innovative startups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex patent litigation matters, including district court cases, ITC proceedings, and PTAB/IPR matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs; support case strategy and litigation execution

  • Participate in discovery, depositions, and licensing-related disputes

  • Collaborate with partners and clients on sophisticated intellectual property disputes

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies, including software, semiconductors, and wireless systems

Qualifications:

  • 2โ€“6 years of IP litigation experience, including patent litigation and/or PTAB proceedings

  • Technical background preferred (electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related field)

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
