As an Associate Rotational Engineer, you will build hands-on experience in electrical engineering, mechanical systems, and project management within power generation and utility operations. Through a structured 24-month program, you'll rotate across assignments that expose you to real-world engineering challenges, capital projects, and plant systems. This is an opportunity to accelerate your career while contributing to the reliable production of energy at Associated Electric Cooperative.
What You'll Do
  • Rotate through assignments focused on electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and engineering project management
  • Partner with engineers and project teams to support power plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and executing engineering projects to improve performance and reliability
  • Analyze system data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend practical engineering solutions
  • Collaborate across teams to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear recommendations
