Job description

Huntington University has an opening for a Student Life Coordinator. Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Life & Athletics (VPSLA), the Student Life Coordinator (“Coordinator”) serves as an office manager and staff generalist providing administrative support to various University and student facing functions and activities primarily in the areas in Student Life (including: Student Services + Campus Police, Student Engagement, Academic Center for Excellence, Residence Life/Student Programming/Multicultural Programming & Commuter Student Programming. The Coordinator also serves as the Executive Assistant for the VPSLA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
  • Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ
  • Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Demonstrated administrative and project management skills
  • Commitment to a Christ-centered hospitality and excellent customer service
