About the role

As a Product Manager, you will make an impact by helping translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements that support the successful delivery of web-based, business-to-consumer applications. You will be a valued member of the product delivery team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, onshore product managers, development teams, quality assurance teams, and offshore delivery teams.

In this role, you will
  • Act as a key liaison between client stakeholders, onshore product managers, and offshore development and quality assurance teams to support clear communication of product requirements.
  • Translate high-level product needs into detailed user stories, sub-stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for development and testing teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, development, and quality assurance teams to support the launch of new products, enhancements, and web-based customer experiences.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the current and intended end-to-end customer experience to help ensure product solutions align with business and user needs.
  • Provide transparent communication to stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve collaboration, delivery processes, and handoffs between onshore and offshore teams.
What you need to have to be considered
  • Experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role supporting web-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience with business-to-consumer web applications and a strong understanding of customer-facing digital product experiences.
  • Experience creating and refining user stories, sub-stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation for development and quality assurance teams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and web application development lifecycle practices.
  • Experience using tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence to support product documentation, backlog management, collaboration, and delivery tracking.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience working with onshore and offshore teams.

  • Product Management certification or Scrum/Agile certification.
  • Experience supporting product launches, enhancements, or modernization initiatives for customer-facing web platforms.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities across distributed product, development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and ability to collaborate with design teams using Figma or similar tools.
Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $114,00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
