Job description

Job Title: Engineering Associate

Reports to: Engineering Manager - New Product Development

Shift: Full Time - First Shift


Job Role

The Engineering Associate is responsible for assisting engineering efforts, particularly in new product design. This includes creating and managing documentation, CAD management, modeling and drafting engineering drawings, and building and support testing of new products.


Job Tasks
  • Design and drafting support for new products.
  • CAD management and organization.
  • Writing or checking of product validation and verification documents.
  • Support in assembling new products for test.
  • Oversight of product development tests.
  • Interaction with customers and suppliers as required.


Education/Skill Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or in progress.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands on ability.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and associated Microsoft Office software.
  • 2D/3D CAD experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter and self-directed in daily activities.
