Overview
Join a production-driven engineering team where your technical skills directly shape the built environment. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of structural design projects while building expertise in a specialized area, with strong potential for growth as you take on greater ownership of projects and mentor newer team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and design work using proprietary design software
  • Prepare detailed shop orders and production documentation
  • Review and check the work of fellow designers for accuracy
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced production environment
  • Coordinate with team members to meet assigned project deadlines
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn specialized design software
  • Working knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to interpret 2D drawings and visualize how components fit together in three dimensions
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support coworkers and customers beyond core duties
  • Ability to work 50+ hours per week during peak production periods
  • Relevant industry design experience is preferred
