Description
SAIC is seeking a Design Engineer Associate in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering including: assisting in the development of test routines for the AN/USM-676 Pinpoint IIR and AN/USM-726(V) Huntron Tracker Model 32 as well as use schematics, diagrams and layouts to assist technicians in the trouble shooting of failed circuit card assemblies (CCA) to a component level.
They will also be designing test fixtures to help the trouble shooting process. Will be Communicating Regularly with technicians and other engineers, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, and system & op. performance analysis.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Ability to diagnose and maintain both the Pinpoint and Huntron Systems
  • Ability to work with little supervision on assigned tasking
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technicians
  • Ability to work in a lab environment for entire shift

Required Security Clearance:
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Can start once interim clearance is granted. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
