Job description

Job Summary:
JPMorgan Chase, one of the oldest financial institutions, is seeking a Senior Associate Product Analyst in their Corporate Compliance team. This role involves supporting customer-focused product initiatives by capturing business requirements, translating them into technical documentation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with stakeholders across Compliance to elicit, capture, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document review
• Convert business requirements into structured technical documentation in the form of Jira epics with clear acceptance criteria
• Align customer needs and pain points to strategic product capabilities and features, ensuring requirements trace back to product themes and business objectives
• Collaborate closely with internal customer stakeholders, user experience design and research specialists, and technology development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and delivery expectations
• Draft user epics and acceptance criteria under the guidance of senior product managers, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with documentation standards
• Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and refinement sessions, helping to ensure stories are well-defined and ready for development
• Conduct research and analysis on user behavior, product performance, and business processes to inform product decisions and validate assumptions
• Help organize and maintain large datasets across multiple repositories, applying data cleansing and standardization techniques to support accurate reporting
• Contribute to the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support product decision-making and stakeholder communication
• Support operational readiness activities and coordinate with cross-functional partners during delivery cycles
• Assist in facilitating retrospectives and capturing lessons learned to improve team processes
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, data analysis, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to capture business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into structured documentation (e.g., epics, user stories, process flows)
• Comfort collaborating across diverse teams including business end users, UX designers and researchers, and engineering/technology partners
• Foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Jira (including epic creation, backlog management, and sprint ceremonies)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document requirements clearly and concisely
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to support recommendations or decisions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred:
• Experience writing acceptance criteria in Behavior-Driven Development formats (e.g., Given/When/Then)
• Experience working in financial services, compliance, or a similarly regulated industry
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Exposure to customer discovery techniques, user research methods, or voice-of-customer practices
• Experience with large language model tools or AI-assisted workflows to enhance productivity
