Job description

Position Overview
The Mother Room Assistant (Propagation Associate) is responsible for the daily care, maintenance and monitoring with a strong focus on weekly cloning of mother plants. This role requires attention to detail, consistent documentation and the ability to follow stand operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain plant health.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute cloning procedures with precision to ensure healthy, vigorous cuttings.
  • Track and record watering schedules.
  • Apply foliar sprays and other IPM practices following safety protocols.
  • Work safely on ladders to access and maintain plants at different heights.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workspaces to maintain biosecurity standards.
  • Monitor plant health for signs of pests, disease, or environmental stress, and report issues promptly.
  • Follow SOP's, compliance standards, and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in horticulture, greenhouse work, or cannabis cultivation preferred.
  • Knowledge of plant care and propagation techniques a plus.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Comfortable working in PPE and following strict sanitation procedures.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic

Work Environment
  • Controlled environment with high temp/humidity
  • Physical work includes lifting, bending, repetitive movement, and ladder use.
  • Fast-paced setting requires precision, focus and consistency.

Qualifications
Must be able to perform physical labor and lift 50 pounds, comfortable working with heights of up to 20+ feet, work in warm/humid environments, work under bright lights and work in dark areas with green supplemental lights, be over the age of 21. Must be able to work in an environment with kief in the air.
