The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is a nationally recognized automotive retailer committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational excellence across our dealership network. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract in Transit agent to join our Corporate Office in Milford, Ohio.

This critical position serves as the liaison between our dealerships, lending institutions, and internal accounting teams to ensure vehicle finance contracts are funded accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in maintaining exceptional accuracy and accountability.

The contract in Transit agent is responsible for monitoring and managing the funding lifecycle of retail finance contracts across multiple dealerships. This role ensures contracts are funded promptly by proactively tracking funding status, resolving outstanding stipulations, communicating with lenders and dealership personnel, and maintaining accurate funding records.

Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong follow-up, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track finance contract submissions and funding status across multiple Jeff Wyler dealerships.
  • Proactively follow up with dealerships, lending institutions, and internal departments regarding pending funding, missing documentation, stipulations, or contract discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve funding delays to minimize outstanding contracts and improve cash flow.
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before and after submission to lending institutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of funded, pending, rejected, and outstanding contracts using dealership management and tracking systems.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly funding reports for leadership and accounting teams.
  • Identify recurring funding issues and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce funding delays.
  • Partner with Finance & Insurance (F&I) Managers, Controllers, Accounting personnel, and lenders to ensure timely contract funding.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, lender guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Assist with special projects and additional accounting or finance support as assigned.
