The Senior Consulting Analyst, Team Lead - serves as a specialist for the Allocation business line with advanced to expert knowledge in a particular area of focus. The CA team lead is responsible for leading collaborations on cross-functional work with other departments to identify and implement process enhancements, and initiates creation of resource materials and training of colleagues on areas of expertise while promoting best practices and serving as a team and firmwide resource.

Responsibilities:

In addition to mastering the core responsibilities and possessing key attributes of a Senior Consulting Analyst, the Team Lead will:

• Serve as a strategic partner on select client relationships demonstrating a keen understanding of a client's ongoing needs, unique circumstances, sensitive touch points, and actively participating in client meetings
• Teach, coach, develop, and engage Consulting Analytics colleagues while promoting best practices
• Assist the Director of Consulting Analytics (Allocation) in creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a high-quality and consistent client service experience
• Act as a team resource and conduit between the Consulting Analytics Team, firm Business Councils, and other departments to develop optimal solutions that benefit the client experience
• Possess niche expertise in ERISA, Defined Benefit, and/or Endowment & Foundation client concepts and practical implications in our business
• Serve as a specialist for the Allocation business lines in a particular area of focus (Defined Benefit, Endowment & Foundation, or investment operations) by understanding industry trends and/or by obtaining advanced knowledge and expertise in a given area
• Participate directly in the development, quality control and the review of client deliverables
• Actively foster a collaborative and supportive culture with Consulting Analytics colleagues

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience

• Bachelor's degree required with a preferred concentration in Economics or Finance
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of investment consulting or investment-related work experience
• Minimum of five (5) years in a Consulting Analyst role
• CFA or MBA achieved or in-progress a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required
• Expert in relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a proven leader in promoting best practices
• Previous experience with CRM, custody portals, and asset allocation modeling software
• Advanced knowledge of capital markets and asset allocation structure
• Intellectual curiosity about investments, asset allocation and portfolio structure
• Advanced to expert knowledge of Retirement Plan (DB and/or DC) and Nonprofit Institutions marketplaces

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

• This role may travel up to 5% of the time for training and or business/events.
• This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
