PasseroAssociatesisselectingatalentAviationCivilEngineer to joinourteamandreporttooursandySpringsGAoffice. Inthisrole,youwillsupportthedevelopmentofairfieldprojectplans,includinggrading,drainageanderosioncontroldesign, pavementdesign, utilities,stormwatermanagement,quantitytakeoffs,technicalspecifications,contractdocuments,andcostestimatesforairportprojectsthroughoutGeorgiaandtheSoutheast.
Theselectedcandidatewillcontributetototalphasingofprojectdelivery,fromconceptdevelopmentthroughconstructioncloseout,includingclientinteraction,whileleveragingthelatesttechnologiesandsoftwareadvancements.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare conceptual designs, preliminary and detailed cost estimates, and permitting documents

  • Develop design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, engineering reports, and plant production packages

  • Perform engineering design tasks under the direction of senior engineers

  • Perform construction administration services, in the office and in the field


Qualifications/Experience:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil-related field

  • Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience required; Aviation design preferred

  • Course work in civil/infrastructure design, transportation engineering, water resources, pavement engineering, construction management, and related topics

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Strong communication skills

  • EIT preferred, PE a plus

  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

  • Ability to report to our Sandy Springs office

  • Ability to obtain Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required, including Federal Background Check (with clear record)
