Bookkeeper
Location: Tigard, OR
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support a growing business in Tigard. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoys managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking as needed
  • Generate financial reports and assist with accounting projects
Qualifications
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
