Job description

About this Job The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs. Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate 1-2-3 To A Psychologist to perform diversified and technical tasks in the maintenance of human resources functions.

Job Duties and Other Information Job duties: Designs individual behavior programs, including a clear description of the behavior, goals and objectives of program, appropriate historical information including functions of behavior derived from functional analysis. Program documentation includes documentation of informed consent, documentation of reviews by the IDT, and Human Rights Committee. Instructs staff involved with individuals for whom intervention strategies are proposed in carrying out procedures and recording of results and consult with staff.

Provides needed materials for implementation of programs including data keeping forms, charts, etc. Provides individual and group sessions as determined by the supervising Psychologist. Monitors effects of interventions via Performance Probes as defined in ISP by making on-site observations of individuals and recording results of observation (reliability checks).

Monitors effectiveness of programming efforts by review of data and progress documentation in individuals' records and coordinates service delivery with other departments. Evaluates program efforts and makes changes and recommendations. Meets registration eligibility as required by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners Psychology for ATAPs and initially registers within 30 days of date of hire.

Maintains current valid registration certificate and provides the registration certificate within 30 days of application submission. ATAPs will be responsible for renewing their registration with the approval of the supervising psychologist each year. Position-Specific Details: Location: Psychology Department: Pinecrest Supports & Services Center, Pineville, La.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by probation, promotion, demotion, lateral transfer, detail to special duty, or job appointment. Preference may be given to employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8 am-4:30 pm.

CAREER PROGRESSION: Associate 1 To A Psychologist, Associate 2 To A Psychologist, Associate 3 To A Psychologist This position receives premium pay of $ 5.00 per hour. Compensation: Associate 1 To A Psychologist: $18.38hr. - $33.08hr

Associate 2 To A Psychologist: $19.67hr. - $35.40hr. Associate 3 To A Psychologist: $22.52hr

- $40.53hr.
