About the Role: Join our Rates & Budget Department as a detail-oriented Analyst in a role primarily supporting our Gas Supply Team with opportunities for continual learning and growth into cross-functional areas. As part of the Gas Supply Team, your daily responsibilities will include planning, purchasing, and scheduling natural gas as well as monitoring and responding to pipeline operational conditions. Additional responsibilities include managing gas pipeline and supply contracts and analysis work supporting our Rates and Budget Teams. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, both internal and external to KUB, including gas suppliers and pipelines. The ideal candidate brings a passion for precision and meaningful financial impact, delivers high-quality results, and consistently provides exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily sedentary and performed in a typical office environment. Duties involve sitting most of the time with occasional walking or standing. The role may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of items up to 10 pounds. Bending, stooping, or reaching may occasionally be required. Physical demands may vary by position and may occasionally exceed those described above.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain from an accredited four-year college or university
  • One (1) to three (3) years of demonstrated experience in related field
  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and team skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with complex data
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a timely manner
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Requires availability on nights/weekends/holidays on a weekly rotation
  • Valid driver's license
