Position Summary...

ARL Bio Pharma provides analytical and microbiological testing for the pharmaceutical industry. Our laboratory works with pharmaceutical companies, compounding and hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and raw material suppliers bringing excellence to pharmaceutical sciences and making pharmaceuticals safer. This position is a fantastic stepping-stone for those with some basic experience looking to expand their career in the interesting world of the pharmaceutical industry. The Chemist I is responsible for utilizing established methods and standard lab equipment/instrumentation (HPLC, IC) to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze routine pharmaceutical substances and formulations.

Work Schedule: 1:00pm - 9:30pm with 3% shift differential
Restrictions: Because of vital nature of this work, we do not allow medical marijuana cards and we do random drug testing on all of our employees.

  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing all assigned duties
  • Follow written and oral instruction
  • Prepare reagents and solutions required for testing
  • Perform laboratory testing and record results in compliance with cGMP’s (if applicable) and internal QMS
  • Work and think independently, yet share ideas and work towards team goals
  • Use a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheets, email and database applications
  • Express thoughts in a clear concise manner both orally and written
  • Work to establish the ability to effectively prioritize and plan multiple work activities with varying deadlines and complexities
  • Adherence to all ARL safety standards, protocols, policies and procedures
