Accountant
Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay: $75k+ DOE
We are seeking a versatile Staff Accountant to manage the full-cycle financial operations of a small manufacturing facility. In this high-impact role, you will handle everything from daily AP/AR and payroll to complex General Ledger management, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting. As the primary lead for our financial health, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all journal entries and delivering comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. This is an ideal position for a proactive generalist who thrives in a "hands-on" industrial environment and enjoys owning the end-to-end accounting process.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure data integrity in accounting software
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Process weekly payroll in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage monthly inventory accounting including raw materials and finished goods tracking.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly and year-end financial reporting for investor group.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balanced sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost tracking
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with ADP Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and cost accounting principles.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to Maintain schedules and meet critical deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
  • Professional handling of confidential information with discretion.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
Compensation: Salary $75k+ depending on experience
