Job description

Sommerset Neighborhood Assisted Living is meeting candidates for a FT position. Sommerset is well known for our high standards of care and services that we provide to our seniors. We have high expectations of ourselves and those we work with.

The activity assistant serves a crucial part of our team. This individual becomes a friend to the residents. You build meaningful relationships and make a difference in their daily lives by providing meaningful activities that stimulate the residents mentally, socially, physically, and spiritually.

The position is FT, generally M-F 8am-4:30p. There will be exceptions for special events that could require later hours, weekend or holidays. Excellent attendance and high motivation are critical.

The candidate must have a positive attitude, enjoy working with supervisors and co-workers, take direction and supervision well, and enjoy residents from all walks of life. Smiles are contagious and necessary. The candidate must be energetic and part of our warm culture.
