Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND / OR DUTIES

1. Lead staff of facilities/offices services employees providing facilities, receiving, property control, and conference operations support.  

2. Responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep of the CNA facility to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment. Liaise with property management for landlord provided services when necessary.

3. Negotiate and contract for facilities services such as plumbing, heating, electrical, and special cleaning not provided by landlord. Select vendors, determine services requirements, establish accounts, and ensure adequate service levels.

4. Responsible for project management of office construction projects: Help specify requirements, solicit bids, review proposals, and select and manage contractor(s). Manage project for on time and on budget delivery. Maintain appropriate documentation.

5. Manage CNA and Government property control function. Maintain accurate property control records, conduct annual inventories, resolve discrepancies, and satisfy government and CNA reporting requirements. Identify and coordinate proper disposition of government property through appropriate government methods.

6. Lead receiving operations to account for all incoming deliveries. Track all deliveries. Identify and tag fixed assets and government property deliveries. Enter items received into Costpoint.

7. Responsible for execution of office moves. Contract with outside vendors to coordinate large relocation requirements.

8. Lead staff to provide move support for conference room set-ups and furniture moves for on-site conferences and meetings.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

2. Experience: Minimum 6 years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years facility operations and maintenance experience.

3. Skills: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, and mentoring skills.

4. Physical: Ability to perform moderate lifting; walking.
5. This position is not eligible for hybrid work arrangements. Occasional flexible work schedule may be possible at the discretion of the Supervisor. 

6. Clearance: Have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.
