Job description

Salary:

Job Title: Commercial Electrician

Location: Georgia
Duration: Minimum 6-Month Project
Pay: $30.00$40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking four experienced Commercial Electricians to join our team for a commercial electrical project in Georgia. This position is expected to last a minimum of six months and offers competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial electrical background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on commercial electrical systems and equipment to verify compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, one-line diagrams, and submittals to ensure work is installed in accordance with design intent.
  • Conduct inspections of conduit, wiring methods, equipment terminations, grounding and bonding, labeling, and equipment installation for compliance with NEC, project standards, and client requirements.
  • Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions through detailed reports, checklists, photographs, and field documentation.
  • Verify completion of corrective actions and perform follow-up inspections to ensure non-conforming work has been properly resolved.
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, field personnel, and clients to communicate quality expectations, inspection results, and project status.
  • Assist with commissioning support, pre-functional inspections, punch list verification, and project closeout documentation.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection logs, testing documentation, and turnover packages in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workmanship and project outcomes.
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, industry standards, and company quality management procedures.
  • Promote and adhere to all company and client safety policies while performing field inspections and site visits.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and detail-oriented approach to all assigned projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 510 years of commercial electrical experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation methods and electrical codes.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements and work in physically demanding environments.
