Description: 

Works with production support and project teams to ensure optimal operation of CSD Windows applications. Works with functional architects to define and implement application architecture in a multi-platform distributed environment. Support IIS and Apache web server configurations hosting web services on non-production environments, and act as Subject Matter Expert for those services in production environments. 

Serve as a technical SME during project development. Perform analysis of complex systems issues or changes. Assist team members with issues needing technical expertise or systems and/or programming knowledge. Ensure adherence to project management processes and documentation standards. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Review configurations and build standards for Microsoft IIS and Apache on IBM i. Evaluate complex user requests, projects, and clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified configurations. Determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and system capabilities. 

- Provide support for 3rd party Windows applications 

- Assist with mobile computer device configuration and support 

- Responsible for Generic ID/Service Account credentials 

- Password resets for apps / Windows service accounts 

- Maintain inventory of all apps and hardware 

- Manage web penetration testing and remediation 

- Work with Technical Communications team to document the .net processes 

- Request Windows Virtual Machines(VM) as needed based on project requirements 

- Tier 1 SQL support 

- Manage patching and validation processes for production and non-production systems 

- Analyze and improve process flow for Windows application development processes 

- Support workflow for payment processing, and credit management applications 

- Provide education, training and presentations on technical tools to IT team 

- Understand compliance processes and standards 

- Other duties and projects as assigned 


Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills: 


- Bachelor (4-year) degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience 


- Knowledge of Web and Windows system administration and troubleshooting 


- Knowledge of Windows TCP/IP implementation, access and security guidelines and procedures 


- Understanding of internal controls and change management processes 


- Ability to solve technically challenging problems on Windows based systems 


- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships and promoting teamwork 


- Working knowledge of .NET programming languages is preferred 


- Skill in prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks 


- Skill in providing excellent customer service using verbal and written communications
