Job description

Position Summary

The Control Room Producer plays a key role in event-day production for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, the upcoming NWSL team, and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Production Department. This position supports productions for Falcons and United games, NWSL matches, and major third-party events, while helping maintain strong working relationships with vendors, contractors, on-air talent, and partner agencies. The role also includes overseeing event-day staff for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, NWSL, and other Mercedes-Benz Stadium events. A strong working knowledge of control room systems is essential for success in this position.

  • Monday to Friday

  • Game Days will be required

  • Nights and weekends will be required

  • Note: We offer Wind Down Days, if you work a weekend day, you'll receive a day off the following week for rest and recovery.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with department leadership to align on priorities and execution

  • Oversee implementation and operation of control room equipment

  • Source engaging, high-quality video and photo content for in-game use

  • Collaborate with show hosts and producers to plan and execute show and segment content

  • Manage and track sponsorship inventory

  • Maintain precise timing of breaks and segments with strong pacing, energy, and urgency

  • Oversee the content management system

  • Ensure all video and graphic elements are accurate, properly prepared, and event-ready (including data, spelling, and logos)

  • Plan and execute productions for major events, private events, and corporate functions at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as assigned

  • Manage production scheduling and staffing

  • Oversee software updates and coordinate training schedules

  • Develop and refine processes and procedures to improve workflow and communication

  • Partner with the Engineering Department to document and maintain technical standards and consistency

  • Serve as Associate Producer on game day

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Demonstrate and uphold BFOB Core Values

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Video Production or a related field

  • Minimum of four years of control room experience

  • Strong proficiency with video production equipment and software

  • Solid experience in live event video production

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience writing and directing video productions

  • Strong graphic production capabilities with hands-on experience in video, HD display operations, and integrated audio within a live sports entertainment environment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with graphic producers, video editors, and game presentation staff to establish efficient workflows

  • Adaptability to evolving requests, edits, and revisions, with the ability to take direction and deliver polished final products on deadline

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
