Are you an experienced operations leader ready to drive meaningful change?
Landisville Animal Hospital in Landisville, PA is seeking a strategic, culture-focused Veterinary Practice Manager to lead hospital operations, strengthen team accountability, and position the practice for long-term growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong operational leadership experience. Veterinary experience is welcome but not required. We are looking for a change agent who thrives in building structure, improving systems, and elevating performance.
Position Overview
As our Veterinary Practice Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Veterinarian (MDVM), ownership, and our Hospital Manager to ensure smooth, profitable, and forward-thinking hospital operations.
This role is responsible for the business, cultural, and operational performance of the hospital, while partnering closely with a Hospital Manager who brings strong medical-side and floor experience. Together, you will align operational systems with clinical workflow to create a cohesive, high-performing environment.
You will play a key role in strengthening team culture, optimizing workflow, improving financial performance, and enhancing the overall client experience.
This is a leadership-forward role for someone who enjoys building systems, developing people, and creating measurable operational impact - while collaborating with medical leadership to ensure excellence at every level of care.
  •  Overseeing daily operations of a growing small animal veterinary hospital.
  •  Leading workflow optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
  •  Partnering with the MDVM to align clinical excellence with business performance.
  •  Driving accountability, structure, and clear team expectations.
  •  Managing staffing, scheduling, and performance management processes.
  •  Overseeing financial responsibilities including payroll, inventory, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
  •  Coaching and developing team members into high-performing contributors.
  •  Identifying process gaps and implementing scalable solutions.
  •  Building a culture rooted in clarity, professionalism, and collaboration. 
  •  3+ years of operations or management experience (veterinary, healthcare, multi-unit service, hospitality, or similar industries).
  •  Strong business and financial acumen with comfort managing budgets and KPIs.
  •  Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable.
  •  Experience leading change and improving organizational culture.
  •  Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  •  High emotional intelligence and a steady, solutions-oriented mindset.
  •  Experience with practice management software or business systems is a plus.
  •  Veterinary experience welcomed but not required.
