We're looking for Assistant Restaurant Manager professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska

What You'll Do 

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll play an essential role in daily operations and maintain the high level of service that our guests expect from their dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Responsible for overall supervision, planning, controlling, and coordination of all activities of the assigned outlet. 
  • Monitor and supervise service flow in the assigned outlet. 
  • Ensure food & beverage brand standards are maintained. 
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally. 
  • Assist in achieving financial targets by maximizing revenue and managing expenses and productivity. 
  • Performance management of all restaurant colleagues through constant communication, training, development, and follow-up. 
  • Inspects establishment and observes workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations. 
  • Ensure staff comply with guest check procedures, cash handling, and accounting procedures.

What We Need 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college, university, or degree from culinary institute; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hospitality degree preferred. 
  • Two years of experience in Food & Beverage Supervisory role management with a strong knowledge of restaurant operation preferred. 
  • Previous hotel restaurant experiences preferred. 
  • Experience maintaining inventory, ordering, and scheduling preferred. 
  • Work weekends & holidays on a flexible schedule. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Work with minimal supervision.  
  • Accurate cash handling. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Must have or be able to obtain within the introductory period a TAPS card and Food Handlers Card.

 Be on your feet for long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
