Position Title: Human Resources Assistant
Department: HR/Administration
Supervisor: Human Resource Director

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists with tasks involving recruiting, onboarding, training, and other human resources activities.
  • Attends job fairs and hiring events to recruit new staff, as required.
  • Welcomes employment candidates to the organization during the interviewing process.
  • Provides a tour of the facility for new hires.
  • Provides ad-hoc reports to Management staff.
  • Assists with employee relation concerns on an as-needed basis.
  • Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for special requests and projects.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Maintains quality service by following organizational standards.
  • Support all internal and external employment inquiries, requests, special projects, etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or work in a similar field.

  • Knowledge of labor legislation, laws, and structure.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on a timely basis.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Must be dependable and flexible.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Software Skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills; punctuation, grammar, and proofreading abilities are a must.

Credentials / Academic Requirements: BS degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
