FINANCIAL CONTROLLER: YOUR ROLE
In this Financial Controller role, you'll spend your day overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities, guiding your team through month-end and year-end closes, managing inventory accounting, WIP, fixed assets, and job costing, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and timely; you'll collaborate closely with operations and leadership to provide actionable financial insights, strengthen internal controls, manage audits, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and continuously improve accounting processes and systems to support growing manufacturing operations.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage large volumes of financial data accurately
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High level of discretion with confidential information
  • General tech-savviness and adaptability to new systems

Preferred qualifications include:
  • CPA certification
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
  • Exposure to audits
  • ERP system experience (Epicor is a plus)

YOUR HOURS
This financial controlling role is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring travel to and on-site work in De Pere, WI as needed.
