Apply Category: Sales, Marketing & Creative, Sales/Marketing Title: Product Manager Location: Plymouth, MN Duration: 7 Months 100% Onsite Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated contractor to support a Downstream Product Manager in both day-to-day product management activities and the planning and execution of a strategic product launch. This individual will provide critical operational and project management support, helping drive commercialization initiatives, cross-functional coordination, launch readiness, and ongoing business activities. The role requires a strong ability to manage multiple priorities, execute independently, and collaborate effectively across commercial and functional teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry and is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Downstream Product Management Support Provide day-to-day support to the Downstream Product Manager across commercial, marketing, and product management activities. Assist with development, review, and execution of marketing initiatives, promotional programs, and customer engagement activities.

Support management of product portfolio needs, including product performance tracking, competitive intelligence, market analysis, and voice-of-customer activities. Coordinate cross-functional requests and follow-up actions to ensure timely execution of business priorities. Prepare presentations, business updates, meeting materials, leadership reviews, and executive communications.

Support annual operating plan initiatives, forecast inputs, and budget tracking as required. Assist in gathering and synthesizing customer feedback and field insights, translating findings into actionable recommendations. Partner with Sales, Training, Clinical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to address ongoing business needs and drive execution excellence.

Provide analytical and operational support for ad hoc projects, business cases, and strategic initiatives. Serve as an extension of the downstream marketing team, helping maintain operational efficiency and execution of both launch and sustaining-product activities. Product Launch Planning & Execution Develop and maintain comprehensive launch project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Coordinate launch readiness activities across Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Operations, Training, and Supply Chain teams. Track project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Facilitate launch planning meetings and prepare executive updates.

Ensure alignment of launch activities with overall business objectives and commercialization strategy. Commercialization Support Partner with the Downstream Product Manager to execute launch strategies and tactical plans. Support development and deployment of marketing collateral, sales tools, clinical evidence summaries, and customer-facing materials.

Assist in segmentation, targeting, and customer engagement planning. Coordinate market development activities and key opinion leader engagement efforts. Support messaging development and value proposition refinement.

Sales & Field Readiness Lead readiness tracking for sales training, customer education programs, and field communication plans. Support development of launch playbooks, FAQs, and field guidance documents. Coordinate launch communications and ensure alignment across commercial teams.

Monitor readiness milestones and escalate gaps as needed. Cross-Functional Program Management Act as the central point of contact for launch-related activities. Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor launch readiness.

Drive accountability for workstream owners and ensure deadlines are met. Prepare status reports, presentations, and leadership communications. Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across functions.

Performance Monitoring Assist with development of launch KPIs and success metrics. Monitor launch performance and provide insights and recommendations. Support post-launch assessments and continuous improvement activities.

Track business performance metrics and support regular business reviews. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, commercialization, launch management, or project management.

Demonstrated experience supporting product launches in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries. Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and project management tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
