Precise Systems is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Systems Engineer to support EWOK system engineering, integration, test, documentation, and lifecycle support activities for Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD engineering programs involving electronic warfare systems, software-enabled capabilities, tactical systems, test and evaluation, requirements management, and technical documentation. This position will work with Government leads, engineers, software developers, testers, logisticians, cybersecurity personnel, configuration management teams, and other technical stakeholders to ensure EWOK requirements, interfaces, test activities, documentation, and system changes are properly planned, coordinated, and executed.

This role requires a systems engineer who can bridge technical execution and program coordination, ensuring EWOK-related efforts are aligned to mission needs, documented accurately, tested effectively, and maintained in accordance with customer requirements.

This role requires in-person support. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering support for EWOK system development, integration, testing, evaluation, sustainment, and lifecycle activities.
  • Support requirements definition, requirements analysis, requirements allocation, traceability, verification, and validation for EWOK-related capabilities.
  • Work with Government and technical stakeholders to capture system needs, operational requirements, technical constraints, and integration dependencies.
  • Support development and evaluation of EW system capabilities, including technical assessments, engineering analysis, lab testing, and field test support.
  • Assist with planning, documentation, coordination, and execution of EWOK-related engineering activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate across engineering, software, test, cybersecurity, logistics, configuration management, quality, and program support teams to ensure EWOK tasking is properly aligned and communicated.
  • Support system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, Integrated Product Teams, configuration control boards, test planning meetings, and program reviews.
  • Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including system descriptions, requirements documentation, test plans, test reports, technical reports, interface documentation, engineering recommendations, and briefing materials.
  • Support evaluation of system performance, integration readiness, interoperability, reliability, maintainability, and mission effectiveness.
  • Analyze test data, engineering findings, user feedback, and system issues to identify risks, deficiencies, corrective actions, and recommended improvements.
  • Support lab, field, and operationally relevant test activities by assisting with test planning, test objectives, data collection, test execution, and post-test analysis.
  • Support threat/mission load, technique evaluation, and system capability assessment activities as applicable to EWOK mission requirements.
  • Assist with documenting technical issues, lessons learned, engineering rationale, and recommendations for Government review.
  • Support configuration management activities by tracking system baselines, changes, documentation updates, hardware/software versions, and technical impacts.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals, deviations, waivers, and technical updates for impact to EWOK performance, requirements, interfaces, documentation, and sustainment.
  • Support interface definition and integration activities involving software, hardware, communications, data flows, operator interfaces, test infrastructure, and supporting systems.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure EWOK-related systems, documentation, and technical activities comply with applicable security, CUI, OPSEC, and information protection requirements.
  • Prepare technical briefings, status updates, decision support products, and engineering summaries for Government leadership, program offices, and technical stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations to improve system performance, test rigor, documentation quality, integration efficiency, and lifecycle supportability.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

Required Experience: 

  •  7years of professional experience in systems engineering
  • Relevant systems engineering or technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree depending on customer requirements.
  • Experience supporting systems engineering activities for DoD, Navy, EW, RF, software, tactical, or mission systems.
  • Understanding of systems engineering processes, including requirements management, design analysis, integration, verification, validation, test planning, and lifecycle support.
  • Ability to develop and review technical documentation, engineering reports, test documentation, requirements artifacts, briefings, and technical recommendations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams, including engineers, software developers, test personnel, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and program managers.
  • Ability to analyze technical data, identify risks, document findings, and provide clear engineering recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred.
  • Experience supporting NSWC Crane, NAVSEA, Navy, Marine Corps, or other DoD engineering programs.
  • Experience with electronic warfare systems, RF systems, tactical systems, mission systems, software-defined capabilities, or test infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting threat load development, mission load development, technique evaluation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, lab testing, or field test events.
  • Experience with requirements management tools, configuration management tools, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, or similar collaboration environments.
  • Familiarity with interface control documentation, system architecture documentation, technical data packages, test procedures, and system design documentation.
  • Experience supporting configuration control boards, technical reviews, test readiness reviews, engineering change reviews, or program reviews.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity/RMF, CUI handling, OPSEC requirements, and secure engineering environments.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across large, diverse technical teams.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
